Jon just saw the one minute teaser of the new Dwayne Johnson movie Faster and feels like he'd let his wrestling nerd side down if he didn't post it. Plus, he's FINALLY not doing another family comedy. Yay! Click the pic and check out the teaser.
Jon has gotten back from the midnight premiere of the hotly anticipated Christopher Nolan film Inception and he's got your review right here. Just be warned: since he thinks you should not know a damn thing before you see it, there are no plot points or character names or anything in it. In essence, it's shorter and less detailed, but you'll thank him later.
After a long few weeks of nothing interesting coming out in the theaters (we're not getting paid to do this, so we can skip when we want!), Jon finally found a movie that brought him back out to the multiplex: the Steve Carell animated comedy Despicable Me. Check out his review by clicking the pic!
And yes, he will be getting his dude card back by watching Predators...eventually. Writer: Jonathan Sullivan The weekend of July 16th is going to be an epic time for movies, as not only do the kids have something to sink their teeth into, but arguably the most anticipated movie of the summer (maybe even the year) finally comes out for the mainstream audience. Check out what choices you have AFTER THE BREAK.
Jon just finished watching the Michael Cera movie Youth in Revolt, and couldn't wait to share you his thoughts on the mushroom-induced, arson-causing, and animated(?!?) hijinks. Click that pic sirs and madams to read!
Writer: Jonathan Sullivan Now that Eclipse has made its eighty gajillion dollars and The Last Airbender has alienated both critic and moviegoer alike, it's time to look at this weekend with two new mainstream releases. Are they going to be worth your time? What will my based on absolutely no science Awesome meter have to say? Check it out...AFTER THE BREAK.
The trailer for Let Me In, a U.S. remake of a Swedish horror film that is on its way to classic status, has come out and Jon has spotlighted it for your benefit. Let us in by clicking the pic and checking out the trailer. Also, we promise that we'll start doing non-trailer stuff again soon!
The red band trailer is online for the film Operation: Endgame which arrives on DVD/Blu-Ray on July 27th. With a cast featuring Zach Giliafinakis, Adam Scott, and Ellen Barkin among others, why isn't getting a real theatrical run and is that going to be bad news? Click the pic and check out the trailer to see for yourself.
