The trailer for exploitation movie Hobo with a Shotgun has come out, and we've got both the trailer and Jon's thoughts on it (trailer is probably more interesting, but we digress). Click the pic and check it out!

Writer: Jonathan Sullivan Well, that was a lackluster summer, eh? With The Last Exorcism and Takers anti-climatically putting an end to the season, it's time to look forward to the fall. Now I know that most people give the fall a bad rap, since that's looked upon as a season in which studios release their worst stuff. It also happens to be when the big award movies come out too, so there's that to look forward to.
If you've got my kind of taste though, you already have a good idea what ten you want to see more than the rest. You can check out my list (based September-November and mostly based around movies with a wide release) when you CLICK READ MORE. The trailers keep a coming today, as I have posted the trailer for the new ballerina (yup) movie Black Swan, directed by Darren Aronofsky. Trust me, it's not Center Stage. Click the Port and check that stuff out!
Hey everyone, Jon here. I haven't been paying attention to the trailer section of the site in awhile and I have no one to blame but myself. Hopefully though, I will be giving it a bit more attention and you'll probably end up seeing a bunch of trailers posted today. The first is for Danny Boyle's new film 127 Hours, starring James Franco as the climber who had to (spoiler alert if you don't pay attention to world events) cut his own arm off in order to survive. Click the picture to check it out and if you got something to say, never hesitate to comment.
Who doesn't love a little gore to wake themselves up? I went to the first show of the new Alexandre Aja movie Piranha 3D and have written a review FOR YOU (okay, mostly me). Click the pic and check it out!
Even as parody movies go down the toilet in terms of quality and cleverness, I have to watch them anyway, and Vampires Suck is no different. Click the picture and check out the review, but I'm sure you already know it ends.
Second on the double feature? The hyperkinetic Edgar Wright film Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, based on the Oni Press graphic novel series destined to be a classic. This one gets a bit wordy, but a man can gush can't he? CAN'T HE?!? Click Michael Cera (pretend you're punching him if that makes you feel better) to see the review.
I had another double feature Monday, and the first on the docket was the new Sylvester Stallone pic The Expendables, starring Stallone and a whole bunch of action stars both good and Dolph Lundgren. Click the picture and check out the review, while also shaving with a straight razor and punching a bear in the face. YOU'RE A MAN, GET IT?!?
Hey guys, I watched the second film off the top 100 list that I had never seen before; the 1939 Frank Capra classic Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. While many film junkies and scholars will tell you of how awesome it is...for some reason, it didn't click with me. Click the picture to read my not very descriptive write-up on it.
The other movie in my double feature day yesterday was The Other Guys, the latest Will Farrell/Adam McKay collaboration. Does it stack up to their other works together (Anchorman, Talladega Nights, Step Brothers)? Click the pic and find out!
