Writer: Jonathan Sullivan Ah, the summer. While the majority of the population are out getting tanned, drunk, and enjoying the freedom and the weather, I will be cooped up in a dark movie theater, maintaining my pale complexion and watching every movie I can get my eyes on. The Summer movie season is my favorite of all; the movies are big, loud, and (for the most part) fun, lavish spectacles that the studios rely on for the big bucks. Occasionally, a legitimately good film will sneak in (see last year's District 9), but that's not always the case.
The 2010 Summer season is chock full of sequels, franchises, remakes, and promises to be a good amount of fun. Although there are many many many movies I want to see, I have narrowed it down to my personal top ten most anticipated movies of Summer 2010, which you can check out (in chronological order) AFTER THE JUMP. The remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street has been released and Jon's here with his usual not really detailed and kind of rambly review. Click the picture to check it out...JUST DON'T FALL ASLEEP. MICRONAPS.
A quick one minute trailer for the Ryan Reynolds indie thriller Buried has been released, and Jon is bracing his fears of being buried alive/small spaces by bringing you the trailer and some uninformed thoughts. Click the poster to check it out!
